On this week we known more information about the four skills that are listening,
writing, reading and speaking, in this class my classmates presented many
presentations on power point and they provided specific information. First, they explained the Reading they said us that is the receptive skill in the
written mode. It can develop independently of listening and speaking skills,
but often develops along with them. Furthermore, Reading can help build
vocabulary that helps listening comprehension. Second, Listening is one of the
most important skills you can have. How well you listen, and help the quality
of your relationships with others. I think that good communication skills
require a high level of self-awareness, by understanding your personal style of
communicating, you will go a long way towards creating good also; the way to
become a better listener is to practice and practice "active listening”.
Third, writing skills are specific abilities which help writers put their
thoughts, ideas into words in a meaningful form and to mentally interact with
the message. In the fact, Writing skills help the learner improve their comprehensibility, fluency and creativity in writing. And the last one, Speaking is the
productive skill in the oral mode. It, like the other skills, is more
complicated than it seems at first and involves more than just pronouncing
words.
Finally, the four skills are really necessary to
develop in the target language we can improve by different activities. And the
lesson planning were another topics that checked, the information that my
teacher provided was useful for us. It will help to understand better this
topic and then elaborated a good lesson planning.
